Enfield, North London
We set out from the family's suburban Enfield home. A five minute walk away from their house, we turned down a side street and entered a wooded area. Then, magically, tucked secretly away behind sprawling suburbia, we emerged on a beautiful grassy hill with lovely views across the horizon.
We walked along the pathways cut through the long grass by the feet of walkers, little Sienna chasing butterflies. After this the family found a place to stop and rest, in the middle of the field, to cosy up and admire the views. A ladybird came to visit and settled on Sienna's hand.
I also photographed Natalie on her own for some atmospheric bump photos, as the light was so beautiful.
A wellness journey...
Falling pregnant wasn't straight forward for Natalie and her husband. Health difficulties meant Natalie was in and out of hospital with PCOS, so it was a very special thing when she fell pregnant with her first baby. That's why capturing these moments of their growing family is especially important to them. Something that once felt unlikely and even impossible.
